Re: cross country in small tt
We traveled from California to Rhode Island and back this past spring. We took 3 months to do it. We found that driving more than 3 hours a day was very uncomfortable for both of us. I did blog about the trip so that our kids could see where we were, and to help us remember what we did where. We used less traveled roads mostly, but when we were near big cities with history, we parked the trailer and took a city tour on one of those buses. We wanted to see the things people from other countries see when they visit the US. We saw lots of museums and state parks. I wish we could have taken a whole year! We visited this spring and loved it! We just ignored all of the high rise buildings and t shirt stores. We took the Maid of the Mist ride and it was very exciting, and we did get very wet. We stayed at an rv park on 62, the AA Royal Motel and Campground. Ok for a one or 2 night stay. Its on the American side, very close to the falls. Thanks, everyone! Yes we did hear about them being discontinued. We took this trailer all the way from our home near Lake Tahoe in California to Rhode Island this spring with not a glitch. We took the southern route, then turned north after the Mississippi. Took 3 months. Two old people and 3 small dogs. Re: Redecorated small trailer
I left the bottom cushion because it was tan vinyl. I reupholstered the back cushions. I took the old covers off, ripped the seams to use them as a pattern to make the new ones. I re-used the old zippers. Pretty easy. Next project is a new wood table top that matches the cabinets.175Views0likes0Comments
