AZ 80 or 90 to Tombstone Territories RV Park

Will be driving westbound on I10. Headed to Tombstone Territories RV Park. I drove AZ 80 in the toad last year going south from Benson to Tombstone. I remember is went through a couple small towns/settlements and was a bit twisty and hilly. Was wondering if it would be faster to take AZ 90 south and AZ 82 east to Tombstone Territories. I know that AZ 80 south and then AZ 82 west is probably shorter.

Thanks for the information folks. 90 looked better on paper and Google Earth.

90 south 82 east is much flatter and straighter than 80 south 82 west and would be faster. Mileage wise the routes are almost equal if driving westbound on I-10 because 80 runs southeast from I-10.

Highway 80 is the way we'd go from I-10 westbound. The 'twists and hills' are minor - especially from someone coming from Colorado. 🙂

Its about 50/50 , advantage if you take 90 is you can stop at Kartchner Caverns State Park. I like staying at Wells Fargo Rv , Downtown Tombstone on Allen Street, and close to the action.
