Best route from Navarre FL to I-65 and on north to TN

We're leaving Navarre FL (Emerald Beach RV) tomorrow for TN. I'm not familiar with route 87, but it looks like the best route to take. Anyone traveled 87 from Navarre to I-65 north or is there a better way?

I just did 29 to Route 113 ten days ago from NAS Pensacola up to TN. Very good road and light traffic.

My vote is I-10 to 231 north to I-65. A nice road.

We take I-10 to 231 north and pickup I-65 around Montgomery. 231 easy road to travel and not hard to navigate around Montgomery.
