Thanks for all the help. Is taking the western beltway toll road better than taking CR 535 to the Fort from IH75/turnpike?

The problem is many GPS programs will put you on some thru roads that are for cast members only and gated part way down. Once you get in there is no place to turn around.

There is a great phone app "Sites at the Fort" that gives you pics and dimensions of the sites.

I would suggest the full concrete sites as they don't have the crushed shell and sand that gets everywhere. preferred sites are usually by the dock or old river country and the posts. When we were there we had a preferred site which had a lot of crushed shells and sand and setup a tent for the kids while we stayed in the trailer. We put an AC unit in the tent for them and they were nice and cool. Next time we'll get a full pad and no tent setup and somewhere in the middle of the park so we wont be in the traffic areas.

Don't men to hijack but do any of you have site recommendations? We have never been there but are planning to go next year. I noticed they have many different site size/price options. Are they worth more money? Are the cheaper sites really tiny? Thanks

Take the western way (toll road) off of the FL turnpike. Drops you off right at Animal Kingdom.
