Border to Border roads-Have you driven one?

I was looking at some Border to Border roads on google maps (US 191, 89, 83, 75 etc.) and noticed that US 83 becomes Canada 83 instead of getting a different number at the border. So you can stay on the same road from McAllen, TX to Swan River, Manitoba.

I did find some others like 75 that kept the same number but not one that went so far north from so far south.

Has anyone driven the same road from border to border?

US101 will also take you border to border, if you include a ferry ride. And can be extended up Vancouver Island, and beyond to Prince Rupert and the Alaska Panhandle.

We have driven BC 99 and I-5 from Cache Creek to the Mexican border but not all in one trip. Still want to do 97 between Wenatchee and Klamath Falls so we can have that one covered too. An acquaintance did an I-5 border to border iron butt run on a bike in under 36 hours and can still walk.:B

US97, 95, 93 all have matching BC numbers. There is also a BC99, but the US99 has been replaced by I5 and bits and pieces of state highways.

BC93 continues into Alberta through the Canadian Nat Parks, ending in Jasper.

BC97 continues to Prince George and Dawson Creek, where it continues as the Alaska Hwy to Yukon (changing to #1). But the US97 starts in northern California.

BC99 goes through Vancouver and via the Sea to Sky portion to whistler, eventually meeting 97 north of Cache Creek.

I5 for us too. Started in Vancouver and ended up in Cabo San Lucas. Didn't have pontoons so had to quit there. 🙂 That was 2008 time frame.
