Customs booth lane widths Ambassador bridge into US

Has anyone crossed the Ambassador bridge through the RV lanes with a big MH (54 foot coach and trailer)?

I have read else where that I would be better crossing at Port Huron. Leaving cold behind.

No problem with size at either crossing. If we are going west, we use the Blue Water Bridge. If going south, the Ambassador Bridge, and the simple connection to I-75. After you clear customs, pay bridge toll at next booth and then watch for I-75 south directions right after leaving toll booth. No Detroit city driving.

We go through both numerous times in a year, it isn't even tight. The US people on Port Huron are always nicer than those at the Ambassador Bridge. I am never take a passcar across the bridge, I always take the tunnel, but that might not be your option.

We have crossed the bridge in a 36' with a toad.
Did not see any problems at that time
