Denali Park Road Pt. 2

I posted on my original thread but it didn't bump up so I started a new one.

Per correspondence I just received from the lodge in Denali we were going to stay at, the hope is to keep the park road open for the 2020 season. While it's too late for us as we made other arrangements this may help some of you decide whether or not you want to go there.

I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be

The information about it being open is from a few days ago so it looks like the road will remain open.

Googled it and Eielson visitor center is at MM 66.

Googled it and Eielson visitor center is at MM 66. So not reachable if road is out.

That will really be huge for the lodges at the end of the park road as they only have 3 months to make their yearly income.

I remember your earlier post. Was the problem area before or after the Eielson visitor center?
