Thanks for the feedback! DH is checking the motorhome right now for a satellite input someplace other than the roof. Our motorhome is a 2003 Fleetwood Revolution and it already has an obsolete satellite dome on the roof. Hopefully there is some other place closer to ground level to plug in a cable going to a tailgater.
We have used ours across Canada. When we reached the East Coast and dropped into Maine, I called Dish and they set me up with the eastern satellites. As I headed west, the western sats kicked in.
We were thinking of using a Tailgater or something like that with our motorhome. A fixed roof unit might be problematic in Canada, given there tend to be a lot of trees where we RV.
The bigger the dish the further north you can get service.
