Hello all,

We will be pulling our 31ft Jayco TT to Branson from Longview, TX in a few weeks. We are not experienced with pulling in mountainous areas. What route would you suggest for the least amount of white knuckle driving?

We weren't towing, but we did I-40 form Chicotah OK to Fort Smith, then I-49 north to Fayetteville the US 412 to US 65 north. I don't remember a lot of "mountainous driving" except on US 65 close to Branson. Stopped overnight at Withrow Springs SP in Huntsville AR.

Make your way to Little Rock on I30, take I40 west out of Little Rock to Clinton, Ark and take 65 north all the way. A few hills, but nothing major and it is a pretty drive the farther north you get. Enjoy!!!

There is no really good route up the west side of Arkansas if you want no hill climbing, however its pretty. also all just 2 lane most of the way
