FT myers FL to crystal river fl

Map quest 75N to US98
is this the best route we have a tour set up for 9:00 AM on a Saturday and looking at 3 1/2 hour drive plus 1/2 Hr safety net . Should I add more driving time.

We will take the toll rd (Suncoast pkwy)

We always take the toll road. Lot less traffic and no semi trucks.

I would avoid the Sunshine toll road. The toll road route is only 1 mile and 1 minute shorter.

I would take I-75 to 98. 202.6 miles and 3 hrs 2 mins.

Drive back and forth Pine Island to Crystal River. Have found the best route is I75 to hwy 52 (exit 285), flying J there. Turn right going West, go to Suncoast Parkway (toll road) head north. Stay on Suncoast it ends at hwy 98. Go west on 98 till you get to hwy 19 turn right going north into Crystal River. Allow at least 4 hours, you never know what you will find going thru Tampa, a lot of construction on I75.
