We want to go from Gunnison, Co to Moab via Hyw.550 to 62-145 to 90 -46 to 191. Will any of these roads be a problem with a 32 ft 5th wheel? We just like to take scenic route. Info appreciated. Thanks Tara

Just ran a similar route through Google Earth Pro and it suggests some pretty steep inclines (12.9%) and declines (-7.2%). I will admit I'm new at using GEP, so someone else with more experience running GEP might be able to confirm/deny what I'm seeing. This also doesn't include tight turns, low overhangs, and weight/width issues.

Use the 'Mountain Directory for Truckers & RVers'.

OP: Your planned route is a very easy one. The biggest grade will be on 62 - 5% for 3 miles.

Enjoy your trip. It's very scenic.

I did that route last Sept it's not a bad drive at all several long climbs as far as some tight curves not really, I was towing a 34' 5er with utility trailer with our Yamaha Rhino on back total 64' length.(see profile) Enjoy very scenic.

Cannot speak for the 90/46 section but the 62/145 section is a good road with no significant grades. Google maps street view shows the 90/46 section as being rough pavement with no shoulders but nice scenery. 191 and 550 in those sections are good wide roads.

Mike. Comments are anecdotal or personal opinions, and worth what you paid for them.
