Next month we will be traveling to Williamsburg and will need to take the Hampton Roads bridge tunnel. I have a 36 foot motorhome towing. Are there any restrictions on the bridge? I know the downtown tunnels require the propane to be turned off but never used this bridge/tunnel before.
Appreciate your thoughts.

Stop at inspection station, they will verify propane is off. Other than normal heavy traffic, you will have no problem. Same will MMBT. You will love Williamsburg.

As long as you are no taller than 13'6" and you have your propane off, you will be fine. Just expect lots of traffics and delays. Stay away during rush hour but even then you may encounter delays. Keep your speed up too!

Go on their website beside the propane being off there are height restrictions you might need to use the M&M tunnel Monitor & Merrimac on the NN side it comes out within a couple miles of the Hampton Roads tunnel on the Norfolk side I believe it comes out around Portsmouth.......... Check their web site might be through VDOT
