I-40 bridge to memphis

Someone mentioned their appears to be work on the bridge over miss river. Is bridge in repair and is it still open or does it have lane restrictions? i will be coming south on I-55 and heading to Tunica Is there an alternate route?

I crossed the bridge this past Tuesday. It was open in both directions with no restrictions.

The answer to your other question is yes there is another way. Hiway 51 north to I- 69 north to I-24 west to I-57 depending on where you’re coming from or going to there are several different ways.

We must of have been dreaming couple of weeks ago as we crossed at Memphis using I40 bridge. Yes it had been closed for major repairs. We had to use the old bridge to cross going east 1st of August. But on return trip 3 weeks later was able to cross using I40 bridge. As far as we know, the I40 bridge is open...

According to media and the TN DOT website, the I-40 bridge over the Mississippi was fully reopened August 2nd. A scan of the interwebs found nothing to the contrary.
