Hi we are taking a 30 foot TT and a 33 foot 5er on a cross country journey . Starting in Nova Scotia in mid May and eventually , all things being equal doing Alaska.
Looking for help in finding campgrounds as follows:

an overnight spot in or around Drummondville Quebec

spot for several nights close to Ottawa . , we hope to explore the capital and area

Appreciate any help you might be able to give. I have surfed the web sites but info from folks who have actually been on the ground is most valuable

Alouette Camping is an easy on and off. We hold our GGS Rally there and staff are really good and bilingual.

The Ottawa municipal campground is what I'd recommend. It's in the Kanata area just off the 417, so slightly west of downtown. You can drive downtown in 15 minutes. There's probably bus service in the area too. Also, a major bike path runs nearby and you can be downtown by bike in 45 minutes.

The name of the park is Wesley Clover Parks these days. I've driven through it and it's quite nice. Here's a link so you can get some more details: http://wesleycloverparks.com/campground/

Haven't stayed there for ten years but based on that, we would recommend this place as well.

That’s 63’ plus the tow vehicle, that’s waaaaay over length and illegal everywhere.

Sorry, I could resist.. 😜

In Saint Lazare, PQ., a bit west of Montreal, Lac de Cedres RV Park, close to the west island of Montreal.
