I see the Grand Canyon can get snow mid November. Driving back to Los Angeles, how far does the snow and chain requirements usually last, Williams or maybe Kingman? I assume they clear the roads rather quickly and it's probably better to wait for the roads to clear instead of the haste of chains.
Hi from AZ. . .snow mid November from GCNP west on I-40 is pretty rare. This year so far, virtually no snow in the Southern Rockies. A weather forecast a week ahead is pretty easy to find, have fun, be safe., regards, Craig
