Northern MI to Denver CO to Marana AZ

We will be traveling from Northern MI to Denver CO to Marana AZ in early March. We will not be towing our trailer during the trip this time, but will some time in the future. We will be driving our Toyota Tundra 4x4. What is the best route and are there any concerns in early March that we should concern us.

Presumably, since the OP specifically mentioned Denver, there must be a reason they want to go that way. This route would be the best, given that circumstance. Adverse weather in March is always a possibility in Colorado, since that is our snowiest month. This route gives the OP minimal exposure to potential storms, but a caution is always a good idea to watch the forecasts and adjust the route/time as necessary.

Alternative to TucsonJim's route

At Des Moines take I 35 to Oklahoma City and I 40 west from there.

35 is a toll road in Kansas but fuel is cheaper in Oklahoma.

Snow and ice are always a big possibility in March so you might come up with an alternate route that would be more Southerly.
