My wife and I are planning a trip from Albany NY to Warrensburgh Missouri this July. This will be our first 'long' trip (@ 2500 miles round trip) with out TT.
Looking for advice on routes and general travel time to get there.
Thanks all ๐Ÿ™‚

Once you get to St. Louis I'd take I-70 west to US65. Then south to Sedalia and US50. Then west to Warrensburg. I-70 aside from being heavily traveled is in decent shape as compared to the interstates in other midwest states.

Agree with this. I lived in Warrensburg for a long time and still have family there. Knob Noster State Park is probably the best and most convenient place to stay if you're in an RV.

Get on I-70 and go. Our son lived in Missouri for a few years and we did that route. Missouri has some very nice state park campgrounds if you're looking for a place to stay.

Coming back from Lee's Summit (near KC) we did US50 to I-64, then up I-79 to the Penn Tpke. I stopped in to see my sister at State College and picked up US220 to I-86 and I-88.

The first few miles of 88 were miserable and I would avoid that if possible. You could stay on the Penn Tpke and cut over to I-80, then US209 up the Del. Water Gap to pick up I-84.
