Does anyone know how the route 60 road is between cabin creek West Virginia and Fayetteville West Virginia ? Towing a 34 ft Firth Wheel, or would I be better to go to beckley than go north on Route 19

Traveled Rt. 60 towing a 26’ travel trailer from Gauley Bridge to Fayetteville. Besides missing the turn off to 16 and then backing up a couple hundred yards it was a curvy, steep in short sections, fun road to drive. As long as you’re not in a hurry it’s an adventurous trek. It’d rely be fun in a sports car or motorcycle. If your going to Fayetteville remember to look for the turnoff for 16 after the steep decent on 60.

Yes. Route 60 from Sam Black Church exit until it rejoins 19 is hilly, narrow and curvy. You will make better time on the longer route. Tried both.

Route 60 between Chelyan and Gauley bridge is flat.with several 4 lane stretches but mostly 2 lane. After that it gets very hilly and windy with hairpin turns and 8% grades. I towed a 36 ft trailer up and down it with a Nissan Armada so don’t expect to be going over 35 mph. This was the route everyone took prior to the construction of the WV turnpike. US 19 is a far superior highway with speed limit of 65 mph. But when it drops to 55 in Summerville, Fayetteville and Oak Hill, you better be going 55.
