Earlier this month had worked on our routing for our big trip, and 'where in the * is the Good Sam Trip Planner of last year?' was what encountered first off !

So am back to atlas/rv park reviews / Good Sam ... planning.

Therefore need some helps on where to overnight along that route, and which route to take ... ? Have gotten help here before, so here am again. Thank you for any help .... including where not to overnight !

Route :
Sat 6/27 Topeka KS > Columbia MO Cottonwoods RV Pk - Arrow Rock
Mon 6/29 Columbia MO > St. Louis SL West KOA 125 miles
Tues 6/30 St. Louis > Louisville KY L-ville South KOA 260 miles
Wedn 7/1 Louisville > Milton WV Huntington/Fox Fire KOA 216 miles
Thurs 7/2 Milton WV > Granddaughter's home 58 miles

The next portion from Richmond VA area toward Pittsburgh to Toronto, Ontario Canada is still in the planning stage .. and have return routed (did that previous to Good Same taking down there Trip Planner which had been using for 10 years !)

NO - not a great KOA fan, but couldn't find much in the way of RV Parks with good reviews using the old-fashioned method .. oh almost forgot - will be taking the 20 ft. Tamarack - no slides this trip.

Stayed at Cottonwoods in July 2012. Nice flat, graveled spots, but not much else. Just an overnighter, and out early the next morning. Hotter than Hades, but then again, it was July 4th.. 🙂

NO smart phone for this gal, ended up using Google maps, Good Sam parks in a given area, plus RVParkReviews ... still rather loved the original Good Sam Routing which would include all the parks, and national parks in a given area. At our age we wonder why so much is changing so fast, but am sure my Mom & Grandma said the same thing in their day.

Hey, If you've got a smartphone, I'd get the Allstays and the RVParky apps. The latter is free, but the former is not. It is, however, the one with the most parks and information, though it lacks campground pricing info.

I'd also suggest the Allstays web site, which has a trip planner on it.
