SW Michigan campgrounds?

Any suggestions or recommendations regarding a suitable overnight campground off of 94 near the Indiana border? Does the Four Winds Casino allow overnighting?

Want to get an early morning start westbound on 80 past Chicago!

We were there last year and I had a planned excursion that would have us stopped there next spring.

Maybe you have a special reason for not traveling west through the UP and south through Wisconsin? If not, that would be my route. I hate big city traffic with a passion.

Not being sarcastic....heard from enough frustrated folks trying to get past Chicago on #80...guess it's another "grin & bare it" or is it 'Bear" it?

Our favorite and we use it most times when we go west, is the Cabela's Off I-80 at Exit 2 in Hammond. The lot has truck parking (we don't usually use) and is patrolled. There is now also a super Wally's in the next lot. We haven't asked about parking there.
