How is it towing a trailer across Glacier NP on US 2?

https://goo.gl/maps/UL8XXDuZqwN2

Grades are not a problem, but my family is not comfortable with steep drop offs, etc.

Thanks!

We've driven the route twice--once towing a 36' fiver and most recently a 25' TT. It's a beautiful drive and no big drop offs. We drove it most recently a few weeks ago and the views are fantastic. Also, if you're hungry when you past through East Glacier, a restaurant there has the best corn chowder I've ever eaten.

Ditto. US 2 is the southern border of GNP and is a very good road. It is the main commercial route through the area. Marias Pass is only about 5200 feet and no steep climbs or dropoffs.

We followed that route a few years ago. We found no problem in towing a 34' fifth-wheel. In fact we stayed at Glacier Meadow Campground on that route for an overnight before going on to Hungry Horse and the Mountain Meadows Campground.

I don't recall any drop offs at all, but it's safer to say that we found it a pleasant drive.

We brought dually crew cab and 40' fiver several times. As far as drop-offs I never pay any attention since they don't bother us. Go on across it, they will hold their breath, because once you start your committed!
