We stayed at Fort Camping in the Brae Island Regional Park near Fort Langley for a few days about 3 years ago.

Don't know how close you have to be to the big city, but we liked this place.

I live not too far from the Burnaby Cariboo RV Park. Pricey at +60.00 per night but cheaper by the week, which I believe is a 2 week min. The park is situated next to an active train (locomotive) line and beside/below from a busy overpass. Depending on how much of a light sleeper you are, the noise may be a problem.

There is rapid transit (Production Way Skytrain station) about a 10 minute walk north and up a short hill past a Costco. Going west, the Millennium Line train, with a switch to another train (Expo Line at Broadway) will take you into the heart of downtown Vancouver far faster then you could drive.
