Vehicle Height Entering Yosemite via Hwy 120

We were lucky enough to get a campsite at North Pines campground in Yosemite NP this coming September and plan on bringing our cab over camper. I am reading on the NPS website about vehicle height restrictions for our preferred route, entering on Hwy 120, and have some concerns. It seems the tunnel is angled and coming in we will have less clearance than leaving (10'3 and 13'8 @ fogline respectively). With our AC unit and vents, we require 13'6 to be comfortable passing through tunnels/ under bridges.

Curious if anyone has experience/insight on how we should enter and what we should be cautious of while in the park. We are coming from Northern CA, the Sacramento area, so altering our route to be on the safe side would not be an issue.

Thanks in advance for your time and your help!

120 with its traffic and grades is a PITA with a TC or trailer 140 is a much easier and faster option. After one trip on 120 I have taken 140 the last 8 times

Tall tour busses and other RVs do it all the time. Hug the center line, drive slow, and you should have no problem. Remember - your maximum height is at the center of your RV, not at the edges.
