We are looking for a nice campground in the hocking hills area. Would like pull through with full hookups, would prefer a 50 amp but 30 amp would do. all suggestions welcome and thanks to all replies
Have always stayed in state park like metzcool. If you need full hookups and pull thru I,d say the KOA also. We were usually out all day so when we were done would sleep anywhere.:)

We haven't been there either, but why stay away from this campground? Just curious as Hocking Hills is on my to do list and I'll bank the responses for my future visits.

Been going there 30 years straight and if you must have full hookup I would stay at hocking hills KOA but if you can get away with 30 amp only then the state campground can't be beat. The state campground is closest to all the attractions and you can hike to Rose Lake and Old Mans Cave and Cedar Falls from the campground. Stay away from Top Of the Caves Campground.
We like Happy Hills near Nelsonville. http://www.hockinghills.com/happyhills/ Don't forget to get a bison burger at Rocky's Cafe in the Rocky's Boots store.
