The ranger station is closed. How do you close a bazillion acres of nothing?

If they were how could you tell? They offer nothing at the same price. It is still too warm for most folks though the snowbirds are loading up and headed this way. We drove down 95 from Parker on Tuesday and there was virtually no one out in the BLM areas (Plumosa Road, Scadden Wash etc.). Closing the BLM lands around Quartzite is like a tree falling in the forrest, maybe it happened but who would know or care. :h
