Boondocking near Reno?

Hi everyone,

I was looking for some suggestions on desert boondocking sites (out of town) within about a 1/2 hour of Reno. Not sure if theres any abandoned mines or other attractions but those are always fun... Does anyone know of any neat spots like this? We live in the Bay Area so if there is anything west of Reno, even better. We would be towing a 27' 5er.

BLM manages a whole lot of property in that neck of the woods. May want to check with the local district offices and see what they have to say.
