Found this wonderful, little piece of heaven in RV Park Reviews and decided to give it a try. BTW, the reviews were all 5's!! It's located in Franklin, NC between Murphy and Brevard. What a find! This is not your run of the mill campground, in fact, there is no pool or go carts, but there is peacefulness, lots of wildlife and an abundance of things to do and good places to eat in the area. Ken and Kathy own this 27 acre farm in the mountains. They are RV'rs themselves. They have 7 sites (FHU) with breathtaking views. We booked 4 nights and are staying 6 now. Already made our reservation for October...they do fill up quickly at leaf time. Ken will take you on a tour of the farm and show you walking trails all over the place! Evenings we sit out and watch the deer and turkeys appear, sometimes wait for darkness so we can watch the lightening bugs start to show like little white twinkle lights in trees...a treat for us being from Florida! There are 21 chickens, 3 geese, 3 dogs, a bird, bees and numerous other critters that call this place home...and they all have personalities. Kathy is a cook...well more like a chef...she loves to cook breakfast with all her organic eggs, honey, etc etc and highly recommend her breakfast when you come up here...girl knows how to cook and bake!! There is a charge for breakfast, but HIGHLY recommend it.
If you're looking for something different and want to get away from the typical campground come visit. Ken and Kathy have done it right...limited spaces, owners that become friends, and a peacefulness not found in many places.
Just wanted to share with you our wonderful experience here. The owners are passionate about the place and it really shows.

Please post a review over at Tripadvisor.com so many more can see it. Sounds like the kind of place we want to keep in business.
