CG search in MD during off season - easier way?

This time of year is always a bit of a struggle for us as far as camping here in MD. We are at the end of October and the majority of CG’s are closed for the season. Yet often there are some very nice weekends with respect to weather and holidays affording a 3 or 4 day weekend. Most CG’s and SP’s have individual websites so aside from doing a search in a particular area, picking each individial CG, trying to find season dates – often a lot are not published on the site, calling only to find out they are closed, is there an easier way? Is there any easy place to go for information with respect to open dates and locations?

That's what I mean. you camp at Assateage in Dec and Jan but on the SP site it states dates for Assateague are: Family camping open 4/24/2013 to 10/28/2013

As weathershak pointed out, I camp at Assateague NS (National Seashore) not state park. The state park campground is closed for the winter. They used to allow 'camping' in the parking lot for self contained vehicles, but I'm not sure if they still do.

Assateage has a State Park and National Seashore CG, which is a few miles down the road from the State Park. The NS CG is open year round but no hookups. Another option close by with full hookups is Island Resort CG in Newark, which is open until the end of January.

Delaware State Park CG,s are open until the end of November, except for Delaware Seashore which is now closed until May 2014.... Killens Pond State Park in Felton is open year round with electric on sites and heated bath houses. A nice winter getaway, even in snow. Lums Pond in Bear is also open with about 6 sites with electric.
Full timing it since July 2012
