Where’s the best place to stay in Chattanooga in the late fall? We’re thinking of going around thanksgiving. Not dead set on Chattanooga just looking around.

Kind of depends on what you want. For the RV Park type setting Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga, is good. Chester Frost Park and Harrison Bay State Park are across the Chickamuga lake from each other. Chester Frost has more lake front sites but sites are close and open. Harrison Bay will have a more woodsy feel. Last there is Cloudland Canyon State Park about an hour south of Chattanooga on Lookout Mountain.

We love Chester Frost Park in Hixson/'Nooga. We stayed there whenever we visited the kids when they lived and worked in Chattanooga.

We stated at Holiday Travel Park Of Chattanooga Rossville Georgia for a week and loved it. On some search engines they have the word Best Holiday but not on their official site

Raccoon Mountain would be my first choice. Best Holiday Travl Park is also nice.
