We just finished a trip to Clear Lake State CG.

It located on Clear Lake which is also near the Minocqua chain of lakes.

It's a very nice CG. It is a rustic CG, meaning no elec, no water hookups, but there are pumps throughout. The sites are different sizes and the office has pictures of each. You can call or make reservations online. It has a dump station.

The restrooms are CLEAN, spotless. The showers are very nice too.

There is a lot to do in the area. It's a great place to visit if you have boat. You can boat through the various lakes and stop and have lunch at various bars and restaurant, plus shopping at all the various shops near the waterfront. Many docks to tie up to and disembark.

If you're visiting WI, put this one on your list. You won't be disappointed.

We've been to Clear Lake also - it is just as you say!

You might want to sign up for www.rvparkreviews.com and post your reviews there also. They have a great service for both finding camping near where you want to be and for letting you know what other people thought of the camping!

Just about to ask which Clear Lake you meant. We have run into them all over the country. My first childhood camping memory is camping in a Clear Lake park in Michigan over 60 years ago.
