Del Water Gap Campgrounds

Hello All! I'm looking for a good campground where we can enjoy the Deleware Water Gap. I have a 29C Winnebago. We'd like one where we can go rafting right from the campground and they will pick us up and drop us off. We will be going with 3 kids as well.

Driftstone on the Delaware, south of East Stroudsburg along Rte 512. Right on the river, and there are rentals - I think canoes, though, rather than rafting. Tubing may also be available there. No FHU sites but some really nice (and HUGE) elec-water sites that back up to the river, plus lots of other sites.

We have stayed at Delsware River Family Campground with our family several times. They have raft rentals on site. They drive you up river and drop you off. You float down and take out right at the campground. There is a launch ramp at the campground if you have your own boat. I am not sure if they will transport you and your own rafts up river to a dropoff point.
Safe travels!

Overnighted at Dingman's Ferry about a year ago. Off-season, so no rafting. CG is "state-park-like", except it has E/W hookups. 2 levels - sites near river w/o hookups, flat field to play, etc. Upper level nearer to road - wooded, quite spacious sites. Boat ramp right there - so it appears to be either a launch or take-out point. Shower-rooms "rustic"... Think it would work for what you are describing. ST

Stayed at Dingmans many years ago, found the location convenient and the sites private . Lots of trees, right on the river, we enjoyed it.
