We stayed at Fishing Bridge last summer and will never go back. We had (at the time) a 33'10" 5th wheel and we barely fit in the site they said would take a 35' rig (rear bumper was touching the posts at the back of the site and the front cap was almost into the camp road). To park the truck, I had to park with the truck bed under the front bedroom slideout and I couldn't put the awning out because the pine trees were too close. Granted, we had an almost 34' 5er with 3 slides but it was not a pleasant few days of camping.

I would say yes, but they also have 40' sites. Can you get one of them?

Here's the Weatherbase averages for Yellowstone over the last 107 years. For September, consider taking a winter coat and Bermuda shorts. You could need both in the same day.
Its a great time to visit, though. School's back in session, so the crowds aren't nearly as bad, and the wildlife's thoughts have turned to love. Have a great time.
Retired and visiting as much of this beautiful country as I can.

What state is it in? You didn't mention where it is and there are several on the web.

That said why not call the campground and ask them?

We had a 35ft 5th wheel and had a foot to spare but getting it in there can be the problem. If they have not cut the young trees then you will be scraping them as you back in. Tight Tight is the problem. You should be in better shape with the MH.
