Free camping sites in BC?!

I've got a 20 ft trailer and a tent. Will be in BC for the next 3 months, hoping to do as much free camping as possible! Has anyone had any luck with free campsite (or at least cheap). Will be all over BC, up by Prince George, by whistler, up to the Yukon border, and Vancouver island. Any tips on finding free camping appreciated! Cheers and happy travels to you all!

No, the site didn't come up. I found a lot of sites selling books that show free campsites, but no Site that labelled the free sites clearly like the link the guy above posted.

A good website for both the US and canada sites, including a lot of small and free ones is

They dont give as much detail as some other sites, but it does cover some small forest service type locations that others dont.

I am not sure you will have much luck, they are at a premium during high season. Even the forest service campsites which can be well off the beaten track are not free. There are places where you can pull off to grab a few hours sleep but don't expect to set up a camp.

Freecampsites.net is one site.

Just Google Free Camping Canada, you should get a few hits.
