Ft Lauderdale area rv parks

Lots of rv parks but most not highly rated on RV Park Reviews. Anyone have a positive experience at one of the cgs in the area aside from the Broward Co parks? We stayed at Markham last year and it was great. Planning to spend a few days there next month. Thanks

We stayed at Twin Lakes last year. Don't stay there! It is in the middle of an industrial park and way out so far from anything. There are no amenities and if you don't speak French, you will be out of place. They put us next to long termers who didn't appreciate a next door neighbor and had the nerve to tell us to move to not block their view. My friend who lives down there said Yacht Haven is the best. Also another person I know stays at Seminole in Hollywood, right across the from the Hard Rock Casino. This year we are going to try Pompano Beach for a few days. Good luck!

Thanks, everyone. Regarding Aztec (we have a tt)looks good but only for Class A's. We have Easterlin and TY and the other County parks on our "call first" list followed by the KOA and then Twin Lakes. Palm Beach is a little too far north. Hopefully, we'll find a spot for a few days. All responses were helpful.

We just stayed recently at Palm Beach Traveler RV Park. It is listed in Lantana or Lake Worth. Nice small camp with fantastic managers who will take you to your spot help you in and hook-up. We were going on three cruises out of Fort Lauderdale and stayed here in between cruises and before and after the cruise. They are the only park that would let us keep our rig in it's site while away. They charged us storage rate while on the cruises and of course regular rate when in the park. Close to shopping and not far to the cruise port. No problem with our 40' MH with 4 slides. Some snowbirds and a few live there but it is a very clean park.

RVparkreviews is pretty bad for Florida... I attribute it to the type of audience that winters there ;).

I believe Aztec is only for Class A MHs.
There is a relatively new KOA in Davie, just west of Ft Lauderdale. It took over what had been a nudist camp.

Check out Aztec RV in Margate. Very high class place. All sites have pavers and many have tiki's . Many French Canadians there- the staff speaks French until they realize you speak English.

Thanks, Markiemark. Prince looks good but a little too far north.

A little further north, we have stayed here:
John Prince Campground

Nice Campground, West Palm Beach area.

We just stayed at Markham, Christmas eve, and that is a great option for Ft Lauderdale.

My wife grew up around Ft Lauderdale, when we looked for other options, most seemed scketchy, not the nicest neighborhoods.......
