Ft. Lauderdale Campground Suggestions - For July?

Hello All!
I tried to figure this out myself, but hope someone can chime in...we have to be in the area for a wedding in July. So, we'll need electric (for AC) and our dogs will have to be left in the RV while we attend the function.

Easterlin County Park would be the most convenient (very convenient, actually) to where we want to be. But, it turns out they are closed for a month when we need to be there.

Markham County Park is pretty close, and is a county park (which we prefer given the option). Unfortunately, there is a shooting range there. One of my dogs has been shot and therefore doesn't appreciate that sound, and the other is simply sensitive to "scary" noises (to put it mildly). So this campground would not be a good fit for us (I checked the days the range is open, and they are open when we'd be there).

There are only five parks listed on rvparkreviews in the Ft. Lauderdale area, and none sound great (or even good, actually). One of them has a 20lb pet weight limit - we are well outside of that. We'll only be there for three nights, so we can handle whatever, but was trying to make the best of it! Our family/events are in the Tamarac/Davie/Fort Lauderdale-ish area, but Easterlin was a good fit because it was closest to the wedding (in Fort Lauderdale) which is the only time I know for certain I will need to leave the dogs behind.

Any suggestions??? We're in a small Class C, no slides, no toad.
Thanks!

Oh yeah, I had looked at TY and CB. Not bad options, I think Easterlin was just so close that I set my sights too high on distance. My main concern with TY is the lack of shade; CB looks like it might have slightly more.

I noticed a place called Kozy Kampers. They have a lot more shade than TY (but nowhere near the amenities, of course). Reviews don't look great. None of them do, but I think more people are motivated when they have something negative to warn about than when they are happy, so reviews can be hard to decipher...

At the moment, I may just have to flip flip a coin between Kozy Kampers and Paradise Island. We're staying in a number of really cool places on this trip, so we expect to end up in some less-exciting places in order to find electric on the other nights when we have reasons to be in certain cities (we don't usually travel in summer!). I'd just like to make sure they are reasonably safe and not the type we'd turn right around from if we showed up w/o reservations (you may not believe it based on my questions here, but we actually are very low maintenance - we've only turned around in one place that was just TOO shady to camp, even for one night).

Open to thoughts on those or other parks...

I just stayed at Easterlin in March for a wedding in Miami and it was very nice, so it is too bad that they will be closed.

If you go to the Broward County website you should be able to find information on the county parks. I know TY Park (Topekeegee Yugnee) not sure of spelling, has a campground and they are in Hollywood.

Also check CB Smith Park as they might have a campground as well. They are in the Pembroke Pines/ Cooper City/ Davie area. Other than that, unfortunately, there is not a lot of choice in that area. Don't bother going south as Dade County has VERY little in the way of camping or RV parks. A better bet would be to try a little further north in Palm Beach County.
