We stayed there once. It is an okay place to park your camper. We now go to Island Resort. We prefer something between sites 60 and 92. You get afternoon shade from the trees along the lake. About the same distance from OC as Fort Wally. Very large sites.

Agree with schlep1967

We have stayed at both Fort Whaley and Island Resort and prefer Island Resort. Fort Whaley would be good if you want to be close to Ocean City, MD and they are a sister to Frontier Town and you can go to the Water Park free of charge. Sites are small. On the other hand Island Resort is more laid back and the sites are very large.

Its been a while but they are generally nice (but busy and active) campgrounds. Great place for the kids, maybe not so nice if you are looking for peace and quiet.

One thing about all of the big OC area campgrounds...they are near impossible to get into on summer weekends...you might luck out but generally will need to book a year in advance. Mid-week is a little better....sometimes.

It is the red headed step child of Frontier Town...

Not as nice , but will work just fine ..It has been many years since I have stayed there , so I can assume it has changed ??

We stayed there a few years ago with DD, SIL and family......it was a nice campground BUT when it rains some of the sites flood - especially those on the main road coming in.

Because of the rain we had some of the events where cancelled.....but we had a nice time!

Can't tell you how the bath house was as we don't use them.....we have our own!
