Hopefully in Glacier you have the ability to get out of the vehicle and do some hiking. Good boots and hiking sticks are helpful.
One August we hiked up to Hidden Lake (1.5 miles) and someone had made a small snowman along the steps (some 600 of them as I remember)! While resting there a squirrel tried to take away our package of chips.
Get to Logan Pass Visitors Center before 10:30 to get a parking space.
