any suggestions on which campground in Joshua Tree would fit our 32 ft. 5th wheel. Park website is confusing on size. Thanks Tara

I agree with the boondocking idea just outside the Park. It is a whole different experience being in the desert with no one around.

Really the only negative about the BLM land: We came up from I-10 and went to the left side of the park entrance road. That section was busier and we didn't go too far down. So we went to the right (east) section. Way less people, but less spots to camp. We went maybe 3 or 4 miles east, and had a hard time finding an easy place to turn around.

Packed when we were there. We boondocked at the dry lake bed north and just east of Joshua tree. Just a little north of there is a nice RV at the North end of the dry lake.

We were there about a month ago and boondocked on BLM land just outside the south entrance. Probably our favorite campsite out of about 15 places we stayed at on our winter trip. We drove through a couple of the campgrounds in the park, which was packed, and we were glad about our choice. Our rig is about the same size as yours.
