June Lake nat'l forest camprounds

Does anyone know if the senior NP pass gets you 1/2 price at the NF campgrounds near June Lake. Are the sights big enough for a 39' fiver?Thanks. I heard it is run by a concession.

We love the Oh Ridge campground. Some sites have a nice lake view.

Yes the half price works. Your rig will fit in most of the campgrounds. See them Here

We stayed at Oh Ridge with our 40' and it was 1/2 price with the pass. Pretty area.

Both sites have info about vehicle length.

I camp in the Eastern Sierra every year, although not at June Lake. I have never had any problem getting this concessionaire to accept the senior pass for half price. To be sure, check with them.

This link should answer most of your questions, as for Silver Lake there is only 5-7 sites that will accommodate that size rig. We camp there with a 38'and most of the larger sites are reservation.

Its been a few years but have used the "pass" for 1/2 off at Twin Lakes Mammoth and the NPS camp in the town of Mammoth(can't think of the name off hand). I drove through one NPS CG over near June Lake loop and they certainly has some sites suitable for you (Oh Ridge/Pine Lake). Im fairly sure the Silver Lake CG's have large enough sites also.
