Looking for Key West, big rig, full hookups + campfires

Knowing how far in advance things book up- I'm looking for somewhere to go for next Christmas in 2014. My requirements are:

1. As close to Key West as possible
   
2. Supports big rigs (42' fifth wheel + crew cab/long bed truck)
   
3. Has full hookups (water, electric, and sewer)
   
4. Has a pool
   
5. Has close access to swimming (beach, ocean, etc.)
   
6. Allows campfires
   
7. Roomy and not packed like sardines
   

If it wasn't for the "Allows campfires", Bluewater Key would be my ideal spot.

I'm also a Thousand Trails member, but the Sunshine Key Resort doesn't seem to get real good reviews. And apparently being a big rig can be tricky there. Plus, it's a bit further north than I wanted to be.

I'm not nor have I retired from any armed services.

Ideas?

No but with bahia honda and curry hammock, you can bring your own firepit as long as the fire isn't 'on the ground'. we did it with no issues,

All grills were to be at least 6 foot from the closest part of any Tiki...Just show your in -laws all the pictures of the campground , they will be all in...

Charcoal is good at Bluewater. You just have to set up the grill outside the tiki.

The Little Red Campfire was smaller than I expected.

I have an email into them asking if charcoal grills are allowed (love the taste vs. cooking on gas). I carry an incredibly cheap one with me. BUT- I also understand their extreme concern for the tiki huts (if I used the grill, it would be FAR away from the tiki hut!).

At this point, I think I'm pretty well set on Bluewater and just giving up my campfire. I talked to my in-laws and they said that as long as they were prepared for it, it would be OK. 🙂

Answer to your campfire requirement.

I spent some time down at Blue Water Key this year and would not even hesitate to drop the fire pit rule..... Drop the fire and hit BWK and don't think twice... Get a water front site and you can snorkel right at your camper....
