Are 1-2 days (not during Mayberry Days) enough at "Mayberry" to throughly see everything?

Thanks for the heads up. Always looking for places like this to add to our trips. Thanks a bunch.
In that case. You would also so enjoy Black Mountain NC. Just off I-40 Amazingly enough at the top of Black Mountain. Neat town with lots of stuff to see.
And there is also Saluda, Just off I-26 at the top of (another amazing fact), Saluda Grade. Exit 54 I think. A couple of Old time Grocery store, one with a Diner attached, and one with a Hardware store. Lots of cool shops, and ICE CREAM. Also, a VERY nice Campground just out of town. "Orchard Lake"

I use to be a member of "TAGSRWC" (The Andy Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club). I've purchased some novelty items through them. Lots of fun. Never been to the Mayberry Days, but have been to Mt. Arey before. Lots of fun, even without special events going on. I think you'll enjoy the town and the hysteria there ... even off season!
