We'll be travelling to the McCalla/Bessemer Alabama area next month and would like to hear from anyone who might have stayed at a decent RV park in this area. Any comments, good or bad, would be appreciated.

Without question your best choice is a FINE park,
called Tannihill Historic State Park. Exit at
(I think) mile 100 enroute to Tuscaloosa......go
to your left a mile to a service station, turn
right, go about a mile to the park entrance.
BEAUTIFUL place, streams, old iron smelter,
museum, many trees...no cable TV...campstore.....
in the woods, in the hills....maybe 300 campsites.
sometimes full....restaurant......don't miss this
place.....your may want to stay an extra day.
P M me for more.

Are the flood repairs completed?

Try the Hoover RV Park beside the baseball stadium in Hoover. Easy to get to and very nice park.
