Any nice campgrounds in the nice part of town or a RV spots that have a little room. Will be meeting my son and girlfriend in late March.

Will spend about 4 days and 3 night.

Anything close to Beale Street?

We have also found that Casinos seem to have nice RV spots but don't know if there are any in Memphis.

You need to check NSA midsouth to see if Millington campground is open. My info is "no new reservatons" because of Covid 19. Check MWR page on the website.

At the risk of high jacking this thread, Markandkim, how is Millington Naval Air Station for a night over or longer?
Our 2351D Phoenix Cruiser, Jack, has turned us from campers into RVers and loving it!

I have used the park on the Millington Naval Air Station. Just north on Memphis.

Last time we were in Memphis our reservations at Tom Sawyer were cancelled due to flooding and we were lucky enough to get a spot in Yogi Bear just over the border in Mississippi and it was nice but expensive. It is just about as close as Tom Sawyer but with lots more amenities.
Have Fiver will travel with little or no notice at all. I do need to stop at rest areas now and then:)

Definitely Tom Sawyer, but do have a backup plan and monitor their website in the event of a major rain event anywhere along the Mississippi. Tom Sawyer floods, and if there is a significant storm in the upper midwest it can cause the park to close for a few weeks until things dry out.

They do also fill up quickly, so reservations would be suggested.

I have stayed at Tom Sawyer several times when traveling from Maryland to Texas and it has large sites. Beale street is fine during the day, iffy at night. Sun records is great and so is the Gibson guitar store.

Has anyone stayed at Fuller State Park?

Not us, but I have looked into it.

We just camped 4 nights at Village Creek SP in Arkansas, about 50 miles from Memphis....it was outstanding.

Tom Sawyer, Graceland, or the Tunica casinos would be my choice. I'm not sure if Southland casino in West Memphis has rv parking.

Tom Sawyer is the park to head to. We visited Memphis 2 years ago and did not find anything you are talking about at Beale street. Now we did go there during the day so maybe at night. The Sun Records tour is well worth it also.

We stayed at Graceland Rv directly across the street from Graceland. They have a shuttle that runs to Beale street that you catch at the Graceland Hotel. As mentioned above Beale Street is not a good area and seems like it could boil out of control at any time. (We felt much safer in Nashville and New Orleans) Parking is limited to mostly smaller vehicles and expensive.

I second the motion on Tom Sawyer. And Beale Street is not in a nice part of town.

At Tom Sawyer you get the entertainment of watching tugs & barges going up and down the river. That keeps me occupied for a few days.

As far as casinos are concerned, Missippi has a few just south of Memphis.

As well as one in Arkansas, Casino camper ark

If your son is to the north Meeman Shelby forest state park may work.
Use caution around there in March, the area has some nasty ice storms
