Mid to South Florida ....Does this campground exist?

I am looking for my dream campground for dipping my toes into the snowbird lifestyle. Here is what I am looking for. Middle to South Florida (below the freeze line) for the 2014/2015 winter.

1. Affordable. I will only be able spend maybe 6 weeks of the winter actually at our RV in Florida. I would rather not spend huge amounts of money for a fancy place.
2. Family friendly. Not interested in a 55 and over resort. My wife and I are under 50 and our daughter is 12.
3. Pool
4. Big rig friendly and full hook up with 50amp.
5. Clean and safe is a must!

I don't think that what I am looking for should be all that hard to find but after spending hours searching on line it seems like most all the places that would work are all 55 and older.
Any ideas or recommendations? Thanks

Thousand Trails Orlando fits the bill. Don't know if it qualifies for mid to south FL, though.

Check out Sun N' Fun RV Park in Sarasota Fl. Easy access. Exit 210 on I75. Turn left on Fruitville Rd. Older versions of Streets and Trips have it located the other direction on Fruitville Rd. If you can't find some activities that you'll enjoy there, you simply can't be satisfied. And you're only 7 miles east of downtown Sarasota.

Thanks Guys.... Your right there are TONS of campgrounds in the area that I am looking at and thats what makes this a bit daunting for me. There are way to many options and lots of them have bad reviews. There are just to many resorts to try and research each and everyone of them. I would end up being over 55 by the time I was done 🙂

There are lots of RV resorts in the area you mention.

There are many more inder 55 parks than over 55. Generally, over 55 parks are mobile home in nature not RV Resort.
