New Smyrna Beach, Florida

Going to sell up in Colorado, when I retire in March, and move to my DW's hometown of New Smyrna Beach in Florida.

Looking to park the 5er and stay in it while getting new house organized. May be in the 5er for a couple of months.

I have found these 3 campgrounds:

Gold Rock Campground; NSB RV Park and Campground; Sugar Mill Ruins Travel Park.

Anyone have any recommendations around these three or maybe suggest one that I haven't seen?

Thanks!

I snowbirded at sugar mill ruins a few years ago, decent park, but my big issue was absolutely NO cellphone signal...any time I needed to use the phone, had to go to the strip mall down the street, and hope I could pick up a signal. Like I said, its a decent park, and cant comment on your other choices, I have no knowledge. Best of luck!

Good to know. Thanks for the info. ๐Ÿ™‚

Have you checked out New Smyrna Beach Campground which is right next to Sugar Mill? It has monthly rates and according to RV Park Reviews, gets very good reviews.

Yup - that is top of my list so far. ๐Ÿ™‚

Did you search this Forum for the three to read any previous posts? We stayed at NSB a couple of winters ago and found the gravel roads to be in bad shape due to rain.
