Niagara Falls Area Campgrounds

Anyone have any recommendations on a campground/resort in the Niagara Falls area of New York? Looking to book a trip for 2016. Thanks in advance.

Four Mile Creek State park is a fantastic state park in the area. As a bonus you get free parking at the falls

We stayed at Branches of Niagara on Grand Island last summer. It's a newer campground opening 5 or 6 years ago. Beautiful campground, nice sized sites and less than 10 minutes from the falls and within a half mile of a mall and fuel. Lots for the kids to do too including a zip line. Also very close by is Fantasy Island if you have young children. If you're more of a State Park camper, 4 mile creek state park on Lake Ontario gets great reviews. I have no personal knowledge of the campground yet but we are staying there next month for three nights. It's 15 minutes East of Niagara Falls.

Take a look at the Riverside RV Campground...it's on the Niagara River and is beautiful..I think the Canadian side is prettier than the US side....Dennis

Sorry I can't remember the name as it's been many years ago but at the time it was the only campground in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
