We stayed there twice when we went to the Tampa Supershow. The cable or lack of a cable signal was the only negative we had. I don't know about cat lovers, being they have a Yorkie. Our Yorkie and theirs had a lot of fun playing together. Both of our stops were just overnights stops and this park was very convenient for that.

We have used this park 2 times going to NAS Mayport. As posted above, it is not a destination park but we have enjoyed the overnights there. The owners were extremely helpful and courteous. Led you to the site on a golf cart and made sure everything was working before he left. The owners are definitely cat lovers....

The pull through sites we have been in are very tight. 40' with toad will just clear the roads front and rear. The sites are so close together, if the guy next to you has a Driver side slide out, your awning won't open all the way.

As an overnight, this place is OK, convenient to Lake City and I-10 & I-75. Certainly not a destination park though.

There have been several threads about the cable conversion to digital cable boxes. It is going to be an issue for parks and there is no inexpensive cure. Advertising is placed many months in advance of the ad appearing, and with most advertising stays in place for long time (books, billboards, etc. don't get updated easily or quickly). Many things can and do change while those ads are out there. Sometimes an ad may be out of date and that is just the way it is.

we have stayed many times over the years....owners were always very nice...now never used the cable or wifi as we have sat and wireless card..only knock i have is the sites are very tight..and they love their poles along the road thru the campground..Chuck

Stayed there one night last Aug. on our way north found the owners very helpful and friendly. Everything worked as advertised. Perhaps it was due to the time of year that we were there.

The Lake City WalMart always has lots of level, pull-thru sites, free TV (use your antenna), free WiFi(courtesy of Lowes)and lots of bargains inside. No hook-ups available.
