Last summer searching around the net, when we were thinking RV I came across a club where everyone allowed travelers (RVers) to spend an overnight at their homes. This year we've gotten serious about a motor home.. Does any one know what I'm talking about ? :?

I too like the idea of a "Club". On our last long trip we spent 31 nights out of 60 staying with friends and relatives or what I call "The Friends and Family RV Park". Most of them had multiple acres available, usually in unbelievably beautiful locations and came with hook ups (W & E). Having a 24' C we were able to even stay in a mere drive way for a couple of nights.

Cool topic! I might offer this when at my S&B.

And here I only clicked on the thread to find out what a 'yard club' was. I thought it was like a boating club...

Escapees. You pay something like another $10 a year to receive their list of boondock areas, called 'Days End', including members who let you park on their land. It's a great deal!

I took a big trip last fall, and I used it to find some amazing places to camp.

Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) has something like that called Stoppin' Spots as one of their many benefits. Not EVERY member allows it but many do and they are listed in the January issue of the magazine every year. The FMCAssist alone is worth the price of admission.
