Gonna be going thru and need a place for a couple days. Maybe near Hamilton? We'd just stay in a casino lot but can't find any and it's gonna be hot anyway so we better have electric

Hi. As posted above, there is considerable smoke in that part of the state (varies from day to day). However, if you're committed to traveling down US93, I've stayed several times at the Black Rabbit RV park on the north end of Hamilton. Reasonably priced, close to town, FHUs, and decent. Sits right on the edge of the Bitterroot River. If it works for you to stay in Missoula, I've stayed at Jim & Mary's just north of the interstate on US93. Nice place - a little more expensive.

There are several RV parks south of Missoula on US 93. But like another poster stated there is smoke and evacuations in the Lolo area. We have a friend that was evacuated out of the Lolo area. We are usually in Western Montana this time of the summer but passed on it because of the fires and smoke.

Just a heads up there is a tremendous amount of smoke in the area and there are some road closures.

On the south side of Hamilton is a nice park right on the river. Can't remember the name. Stayed there couple of months.
Found it. Angler's roost.
