(I also posted this on the Class C page.) Has anyone stayed at, or has any info on, the Garden City RV Park in San Jose, CA? We'll be out there for a few days at the end of April and any help would be appreciated.

You would be in an area of high theft due to several homeless encampments in the area. Not to mention an hourly sleezy type motel named "White way motel." Also that is one nasty looking RV park. There's one across from it that looks decent, but they have similar problems with theft and mental illness.

May I suggest Morgan Hill Thousand Trails Park off of Uvas Rd? I believe Morgan Hill also has a KOA camp there as well. Morgan Hill is less than 30 min from San Jose if you really need to be in San Jose.

I go to Jon-Jon's BBQ all the time, which is right at the entrance to the park. It appears to be mostly long-term renters and looks to be full most of the time, so not sure if you would even be able to get a spot if you wanted to. Don't expect any camping ambiance because the area is very industrial, but I see nothing really wrong with it if you just want to be in the city close to everything, and you are right next to some of the best BBQ on the planet.

This place is pretty close to San Jose (San Jose is huge, don't know exactly where you want to be) and a lot of people like it.

It's in a nice woodsy location in the hills of Saratoga.
